In 2009, Alex Zablocki ran for New York City Public Advocate.  While Alex came up short, he did remarkably well in a 6 to 1 Democratic city and being outspent $227 to $1.  Alex managed to get 7,000 votes more on the Republican line than John Faso did for Governor citywide in 2006.  This is a great accomplishment and is a testament to all of his volunteers and supporters across the city.
