The following is a statement by Alex Zablocki, Republican candidate for Public Advocate, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Gioia on the birth of their daughter, Rosalee Gioia:
"I would like to send my congratulations to Lisa Hernandez Gioia and Councilman Eric Gioia on their new addition to the family, Rosalee. While we crisscross the five boroughs campaigning to make our city a better place to live, we are reminded by moments like this why we choose public service – to give youngsters like Rosalee a better future. Eric won’t be kept up late now just because of this race! It’s early yet, but just in case, I’m holding a spot for Rosalee in the Young Republicans. Lisa and Eric, I wish you, Amelia and Rosalee all the best."
